Online Behavior
Digital Etiquette is when the way you and other people should act online, in other words it means to act just like you would in person. If you were in person you would be respectful to the person you are talking in person. So when you are online you should act then same just because it’s over the internet doesn’t mean that you are protected. Everything that you say online can be tracked for the rest of your life whether it’s private or deleted. So stay safe and don’t post something that you believe that you may or could get in trouble for. Meanness is when someone is rude to someone in person or via the internet. So if some was online and was calling you names or insulting someone, those are examples of meanness. Ways to not be mean online is that you need remember that if you think that it may hurt someone in any way. Also if you wouldn’t say it in person than don’t say it all and if you wouldn’t want it said to you then don’t say it. A cyber is when a person sits behind a computer and says hateful things to or about the victim.
Being a Bystander is when you are watching someone get bullied or cyber bullied being an Upstander is when you see that happening you go and try to prevent it from happening. Advice to being an Upstander is that you knowledge that it is occurring and then you try to interfere with the bully telling them to stop, then you seek help if needed. There is no solution to cyber bulling all you can do is try to prevent it. Digital etiquette is very important to our society make sure that you use it.

Digital literacy
Digital Literacy is a vital aspect to the world in many ways. Its effect’s me in a good way because I’m very capable of understanding technology. No matter what device it is, if you hand me a piece of technology and I know how to use it and I’m to complete whatever task is need to be completed. If I wasn’t digital literate, I would struggle with my everyday life. Today’s world requires a lot of technology. Knowing how to use technology can help your everyday life in many ways, it can help you in every aspect of life. Being able to use and understand technology is not just important for one reason. You need to know how to use computer now days, for school and work and for leisure. If people around you are don’t know how to use technology it becomes very hard to keep up with things whether it’s in the classroom, at work or just trying to stay updated with what’s going on in today society. Also it’s important to how to use more than one device, say you’re driving in the car and you’re trying to find out about the weather or traffic. Then you run into a problem because you don’t know how to use the radio, and you don’t have a Smartphone, you cannot find what you need, which then cause a Varity of problems for you. Something I’ve learned about digital literacy, that I thought I knew before was just how important it is to be able to use technology, and have access to it. Some people in today’s world know how to use technology and they have access to it. But there are always those people who don’t know how to use the technology or they know how to use them but they cannot afford to buy them. Then what? What are they supposed to do just, aspect the fact that they do not have enough money or do not have the proper training to be a part of digital literacy society? That’s when the huge problem called digital dived comes into effect, and splits the people body in half. I just think that anyone without training or do not know how to use pieces of technology should really try to trained. The world everyday is become more and more technology base, who knows what’s in store next!

Digital Access
Digital access and Divide by Brian Scheid on GoAnimate
Digital Access is when the human population has access to the electronic world. No matter what you're economic status is. Digital access is a key to life, on our world today you cannot live life without it. If you do you will struggle keeping up.
Digital is great for me and my family members. I Have a computer pretty anywhere I go whether its in school or at home. So if receive homework or have to work on a project that requires a computer or something like that I always have access to one. But in other countries it may be very different when it comes to that type of stuff. It could be different because if there social classes and there climate.
Digital divide in education can vary in different locations, also it differ in with the social economic status. Everywhere you go in the world it could be different. But the general problem of Digital divide in education is that some students may be more or underprivileged than others. Student with families that have jobs, or that have money can afford to purchase such items as computers or macs. Students with families may be out of work, or can't work, or just have the money; do not have the ability to have laptops at home. Then the students are just limited to the public library or the school library, then what happens when those are closed the students are stuck. That's the main problem of digital divide in education, in our world today.
For me digital divide isn't a problem, wherever I go I always have access to computers. That's the way it has been for me. But seeing people not in the same case as me makes me realize how lucky I am to be that fortunate.
At Bacon Academy I'm not sure how big of a problem digital divide is, I'm sure it does exist. I hope that to the students that it effects they are able to go to the library, whenever they need to, whether its the public library or if the school library. I personally don't notice it, but I'm sure that the teachers and staff do.
Effects that digital divide is tremendous, not only can it affect the students academic growth in bad way. It can also affect a student's emotional state, if the student know that they could possibly fail a class because of not having access to a computer make them not motivated or depressed. Also can affect their emotional development because even its not exactly related to school with students not having access to computer, they will not be able to take part in social media/ networking.
Some solutions that schools can take to try to gap digital divide, is to put more of there spending money towards get computers that work! Some schools have computers that don't work and then there always trying to fix them. Then they say where do we come up with the money, this is tough for me a to say because an athlete, but they should take some of the money for there sports fund or they should stop spending all their money on sports.
Digital Access should have an positive effect on their users, to make there lives easier. That's why we need to take a step in the right direction and make it easier for those that are underprivileged.
